Welcome! I am a Michigan-born, Brooklyn-based writer, editor, blogger, and voracious consumer of media, food and music. My full-time gig is on the editorial team at eMusic and I’m also the home cook behind the food and music blog Eating the Beats, where I create recipes inspired by music. I’ve been a regular contributor to Billboard, AOL’s Spinner.com, and Critical Mob, and have been published in various other music and culture publications including The Village Voice, Under the Radar, Venus Zine, Heeb Magazine, filter-mag.com, and others.
